Locations

A location is a place where inventory items are stored. Locations can be either physical or virtual. Physical locations have a physical address and contain quantities of goods, such as a 3PL, Repair Facility, or Retail Store. Virtual locations, on the other hand, do not have a physical address and are used to aggregate inventory between one or more physical locations. This allows for the creation of a single stream of ecommerce inventory that can be sold across multiple channels.
